“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” Matthew 11:28

Amid a world that often feels overwhelming and fractured, where the pressures of daily life weigh heavily on our minds and spirits, our mental health has become a significant concern—a vital yet often overlooked part of who we are, as individuals and as communities. From the pressures of academics and social media to global events that impact our sense of security, it’s more important than ever to prioritize our emotional and psychological well-being. Where do we turn when our minds are heavy? How do we, as young people living in a fast-paced, hyper-connected world, navigate the challenges of mental health and find true peace, hope, and resilience?

Mozaik 42 invites young voices around the world to share their insights, experiences, creative expressions, and unique perspective on mental health. Whether you’re a seasoned advocate or simply someone seeking to make a difference, your voice matters. We’re looking for stories, poems, artwork, articles, designs, and any other creative expression that explores themes such as:

  • Resilience and hope: How have you overcome challenges and found strength?
  • Community and connection: What role does community play in supporting mental health?
  • Faith and spirituality: How does your faith or spirituality inform your understanding of mental health?
  • Social justice and mental health: How do systemic issues impact mental health, and what can we do to create a more just and equitable society?

Inspired by biblical figures like Elijah (1 Kings 19:4-18) who sought solace in solitude, or David who expressed his deepest emotions through psalms, we believe that sharing our stories or perspectives can be a powerful tool for healing and connection.
