Pavlina Manavska (Macedonia)

My name is Pavlina and I come from Macedonia. I finished my studies in Foreign languages in Skopje, Macedonia, where I stayed two more years teaching German in a private school. At the moment I live in Cologne, Germany and I am working in a Pedagogical Children Institution. From my high school days I am an active member and volunteer at the United Methodist Church in Macedonia. Although the biggest denomination in Macedonia is Orthodox, there is still diversity where lot of other Christian denominations such as other religions, Islam and Judaism are present.

My first ecumenical and inter-religious contacts started at the same time when I started my studies. Shortly after that I participated at WSCF-E Conference in Finland and learned a lot how WSCF works and what is it about. I personally support and share the vision of WSCF for living our faith united; learning about other cultures and denominations is the best way of getting to know yours.

I am looking forward to new tasks and bigger responsibilities to get involved more and support WSCF-E with my skills.
