The 41st Edition of MOZAIK delves into eco-justice questions and presents the voices of European and world students/activists committed to climate advocacy. Our authors are diverse and present a broad spectrum of actions, initiatives, and perspectives for climate justice. Twiza offers two poetic pieces on Earth and its value as a neighbor and treasure to protect. Emad presents a theological approach to the topic in his “Towards a Green Christology: Deep Christology as a critical lens for Ecological Challenges”. Monika introduces her advocacy work in Bangladesh on safeguarding children’s rights amid climate change. Aino in her moving “Breath of God” reflects on how Mother Earth, with her multiple textures, aromas, and colorations, brings us closer to the experience of God. Christiane demands a much more assertive action of government and societies to face the current climate crises. Agge, in “What about our neighbors? Christian anthropocentrism in times of crisis” compares the different creation traditions in the book of Genesis to raise a much more balanced and fair approximation to the question of humanity and its position among God’s creatures. Finally, Jan offers a liturgical perspective on creation and the role humans play in this cosmical celebration. The approaches, authors, and formats are varied and try to briefly depict the multiple initiatives and reflections of Christian students from all around the world.
