No really I am
My friends often laugh
At such a notion
But it’s true

I am man enough
To stand up and fight
Against injustice
By peaceful protest
Or direct action

I am man enough
To carry heavy things
By being there to listen
I can carry a friend
In times of trouble

I am man enough
To control my feelings
When I cry
Or show public signs
Of affection
It’s because I meant to
