New European Regional Committee – New Perspectives

February 6th, 2012 9:47 am

I just came back from the ERC meeting in Berlin. Meeting the newly elected ERC has been a great pleasure! Although I had a chance to attend only a part of the meeting, I am sure that the persons elected in Denmark are the best choices!

Welcoming atmosphere of the Regional Office and all the engagement offered by Katka and Jill have been translated in a warm, cheerful and hopeful atmosphere of closeness and understanding. it was wonderful to see as well that the policies we talked about at European Regional Assembly have been implemented. The whole group enjoyed freshly brewed fair trade coffee and eat delicious vegetarian food. So good to see this positive change!ERC Meeting

Apart from the ERC meeting, we had the Mozaik Editorial Team meeting. It was exciting to explore the new website and brainstorm about the ideas for the future. The Team met with Maria, who is the new Art Editor, and we are truly excited about the new layout that we talked about. The next issue will surprise you! Good news for the Mozaik readers: it will be way more accessible, since apart form the paper version, there will be an on-line edition as well! What is more, you will be able to share the article via Facebook or Twitter. Isn’t it exciting? We are very much looking forwad to seeing the discussions and comments!

For those of you who are planning to come to Bremen for the Staff and Officers meeting, we will provide you with a workshop on how to communicate about your SCM and to link it with the global federation. We hope to see your involvement and enthusiasm!
