Jurgita Kozeniauskaite (Lithuania)
Hi everyone! I’m Jurgita and I’m from Lithuania. My home town is in the west of Lithuania – Tauragė. currently I volunteer in Romania as EVS‘er.
I was born in a Lutheran family and I’m an active member of my church community. We organise ecumenical summer camps for children, promoting international events for our youngsters. My first experience in international ecumenical event was BIEN festival in 2010 in Lithuania. I got more involved in ecumenical youth movement after my first WSCF event which was a Lingua Franca summer camp in Romania in 2013.
I believe that volunteering is very important: both for the volunteer, as well as for the work that volunteers do. Because maybe it is hard to see, but through volunteering the world is changing.
Besides of volunteering I am interested in people-education, self-development. I love dogs and animals in general, spend time in nature and music. Here in Romania I found out that I like hiking in the mountains a lot.
