Who Funds Us

WSCF Europe has had many different funders over time for which we are greatly appreciative. Currently we are funded by:

• Council of Europe

  Supports each conference with funding for accommodation, travel and venue costs. They also funded the development of this website. The Council of Europe is one of our oldest funders.

• The Education, Audiovisual and Culture Executive Agency (EACEA)

  Each year EACEA, a branch of the European Union, supports our administration costs. This  includes staff salaries, travel and funding of statutory meetings. This funding is integral to the work of WSCF Europe.

• WSCF

  The global federation supports the work of WSCF Europe through the salary of the WSCF Europe Regional Secretary salary.

• World Council of Churches – World Youth Program

  Over the past year the WCC World Youth Program has supported WSCF Europe events and programs. They are a long time partner of WSCF Europe.

• Kirk in Actie

  Events and programs this past year have been supported by Kirk in Actie. They have supported WSCF Europe and our partners generously for many years. They are based in the Netherlands.

• General Board of Global Ministries

  Support for the Lingua Franca program and women’s work in WSCF Europe has been provided by the United Methodist Church based in in the United States.

• Brethren Volunteer Service

  Office interns have been supported by the Brethren Volunteer Service with funding for travel, training and health care.

• Senior Friends and Individual donors

  Individuals donations help support the administrative and statutory work of the region. As it does not come with the same restrictions as many grants we receive it is incredibly useful for the financial management of WSCF Europe.

Each individual event is also supported by local funders which vary each time.
